Bug fix: After pressing the right mouse button above the leading icon on the 'Connect To/Firmware Update' dialog the corresponding list entry was not selected which caused an exception
Bug fix: Especially on LAN devices firmware updates sometimes failed because the 'Firmware Update' dialog was closed but the associated device list index of the selected devices changed. This could lead to a firmware update sent to the wrong devices
Bug fix: If a device switch took place while a picture over LAN was captured the picture will not get copied into the main picture buffer for display
Bug fix: If a device change happened while a picture transfer from a LAN device was running, the change was not detected and the command was retried what caused an exception
Added help contents
New tool bar and remote control icon for 'Still Image' capture
Active device is now still active after firmware update was executed on this device (was only an issue with USB devices)
While device discovery is running all buttons on the 'Connect To' dialog are disabled to prevent a user from pressing the 'Refresh' button (doesn't make sense because the refresh is already in progress)

Bug fix: 'Print Picture' dialog was not shown anymore on Windows Vista 64 bit
Bug fix: Option 'Always save in native resolution' for auto saving pictures was not working properly with protocol 2 devices
Bug fix: Opening the 'Connect to' dialog sometimes caused an error if the application was running in Continuous View mode
Bug fix: Closing the application sometimes caused an unhandled exception due to a device list update triggered by the USB while closing the application
Bug fix: If a firmware update is executed on the currently active LAN device the new firmware version number is also updated in the main window caption
Bug fix: Corrected the window position restore and remote control docking algorithms
Added 16:10 picture format support

Added additional message boxes for better error detection while installing the application
Bug fix: Setup routine works now also with Turkish operating systems (code page error fixed)
Bug fix: Remote control context menus 'Store Memory' and 'Recall Memory' got fixed for Ethernet/LAN devices (used the wrong memory number)
Bug fix: No refresh of the device list is triggered anymore if an error occurs for Ethernet/LAN devices while the access level is retrieved (could cause a recursive loop)

Color of remote control buttons changed to match the new layout of the infrared remote control
Corporate Identity: All WolfVision logos updated
Error report files are now send to WolfVision as XML files instead of text files (XML is easier for automatic analysis)

Bug fix: The information dialog which informs the user about a missing Internet connection is no longer displayed on every application startup. It is now only displayed if it makes sense
Bug fix: Check of firmware files for VZ-8(3) series devices was improved to ensure that no old files which might be invalid because of their age are used for a firmware update
Bug fix: VZ-8(2) and VZ-8(3) devices with firmware version 1.10a and higher use another rotation direction for Image Turn. This change is now also addressed in this software and in the WIA driver
Bug fix: Invalid reuse of an application variable sometimes caused a crash. This variable is no longer used multiple times to prevent these crashes
Bug fix: Some display texts had typos and were fixed

End User License Agreement added
Added support for the new devices VZ-8light-3 and VZ-8plus-3

All names for devices are now displayed in the long format (e.g. VZ9P is now VZ-9plus, VZ8L-II is now VZ-8light-2, etc.)
Concurrent LAN communication is now handled by two separate functions to increase the connection stability
Added cross application domain communication capability (remote controlling the Connectivity software)
Bug fix for Windows Vista SP1: The 'Save As' dialog box object had to be adjusted to ensure that the dialog is always displayed

Bug fix: Corrected some spelling errors in the text resource files
Bug fix: The remote control window is no longer the TopMost window on the screen if the About dialog is displayed
Bug fix: A race condition for the remote control buttons Zoom, Iris, Focus and Mirror was fixed. The sequence of commands is now always Start followed by a Stop command
Bug fix: If the serial number of the last used device from the INI file is a text string instead of a number the application no longer crashes and instead uses the first discovered device
Bug fix: The remote control slider windows didn't get displayed because the necessary function was called from a different thread. This was changed
Bug fix: If the device is in 16:9 mode and the image turn is set to 90 or 270 degrees the captured 4:3 resolution should correspond to the selected 16:9 resolution. This wasn't the case therefore it was fixed
Bug fix: Added some exception handling code to functions which could throw exceptions while the application is closing
Bug fix: Some antivirus software products report our setup package to the user even if it is not infected with any kind of trojan/virus. To prevent this the internal structure of the setup package was changed
Bug fix: Wrong data type (Integer instead of UInt32) for JPG size with multicast transfer was used
Bug fix: Reset of the trigger mode setting while switching to another device from an EYE-12 is now done before the toolbar icons and menu items are enabled/disabled. Had to be fixed because otherwise the still image button/menu item didn't get enabled again while switching from an EYE-12 to another device
Bug fix: Permanent Power/Light check while running in continuous mode with the remote control visible is not necessary for EYE-12 and new main board devices

Bug fix: Resetting settings on the General tab was adjusted to also include the setting for saving the last used device
The application can now remember the last active device before it was closed and restores the connection to this device the next time the application is started
Bug fix: Device detection works now properly if USB was connected while the device gets connected to the power supply
Bug fix: Check for new firmware files works now properly (was causing an application crash if a newer version for an existing file was detected)
Automatic firmware update procedure added. Information about old and new firmware version is now displayed while the update is executed
A firmware update can now also be started directly from the 'Connect to' dialog with a right click on the device
Bug fix: If a USB picture transfer was interrupted because the connection was lost a retry sometimes didn't work anymore even if the connection was restored. This problem was fixed
Bug fix: If a synchronization problem over USB led to an empty type/version string the application accidentally switched in the 'No USB device' test mode. This was fixed
Bug fix: If the remote control is closed, all possibly visible slider windows are now also closed
Bug fix: If no file extension is entered while saving a picture, the application didn't save a picture which was fixed now
State icons for the dialogs 'Connect to' and 'Firmware Update' were added to display the actual firmware status. If the device is a known LAN device these state icons also indicate if the device was found on the network
Double click on an entry of the list of known devices now opens the entry editor for this entry
The same options for text annotations in movie files are now also provided for saving pictures
The actual picture can now be sent as an Email with a context menu (right click on the picture window)

Serial numbers of older devices are now always displayed as 8-digit numbers
The trigger mode settings are now immediately synchronized with the device instead of executing the synchronization when the preferences dialog is closed
A 'Reset settings' button was added to each preferences dialog tab to reset the values on the actual tab to the default values
If there's no picture available, also the print settings menu items are disabled
TWAIN and WIA drivers overworked for the new communication protocol
