The bandwidth requirement when streaming images on a network is dependant on resolution and frame rate.
On a network for multi-cast, there is no difference in bandwidth requirements on Multicast-streaming. No matter if there is one or 50 users logged in (depending on used network infrastructure)!
Examples of bandwidth usage as guideline:
Resolution: SXGA, Framerate: High (about 10 fps)
Bandwidth: about 8 Mbit/s
Resolution: SXGA, Framerate: Low (about 1 fps)
Bandwidth: about 1 Mbit/s
Resolution: VGA, Framerate: High (about 20 fps)
Bandwidth: about 5 MBit/s
Resolution: VGA, Framerate: Low (about 1 fps)
Bandwidth: about 0,5 MBit/s
